first_imgGeneva-based airline PrivatAir has ordered a new Boeing 787-8 VIP airplane, marking its will to expand its services. The transaction, a purchase-right exercise from PrivatAir’s 787 order in 2006, means that the $162 million (£83 million) deal leaves PrivatAir with two 787s on order, a big investment from the firm.While some may favour private charter providers like PrivatAir for their business travel, others choose prime services on commercial flights – with newly launched Emarites flights between financial hubs Dubai and New York proving immensely popular with top-end customers.
