Oppo F11 Pro with rising camera launched for Rs 24,990, here’s what you need to know

first_imgAfter teasing for quite a while, Oppo has finally launched the F11 Pro in the Indian market. The smartphone’s highlight is the pop-up camera, or as Oppo calls it the rising camera. The F11 Pro comes in one variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and will be going on sale from March 15 at a price of Rs 24,990. The F11 Pro will be available in two gradient colours: Thunder black and Aurora Green. Oppo also announced a regular F11 that is priced at Rs 19,990.The F11 Pro is Oppo’s second offering for 2019 after the Oppo K1, which introduced the in-screen fingerprint sensor. Oppo has been in fact playing it quite aggressive in the market for a long while offering compelling options at competitive prices. With the F11 Pro, the company is set to reaffirm its presence in the sub-Rs 30,000 segment.Oppo F11 Pro specificationsThe Oppo F11 Pro is the first mainstream model in Oppo’s lineup of smartphones to ditch the notch and offer a fullscreen display. Oppo achieves that by adopting a mechanical pop-up camera similar to the one found on the recently launched Vivo V15 Pro. As with the Vivo phones, the pop-up mechanism will only sport the front camera — no LED flash or fancy 3D face unlock system. On the other and, Oppo has managed to cram in a 6.5-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with no notch or any other forms of interruption.When it comes to the cameras, Oppo is paying a lot of attention to the hardware. The mechanical pop-up slider will hold a 16-megapixel camera with no LED flash or IR sensors.advertisementHowever, the front camera isn’t the only area where Oppo is paying attention. The F11 Pro will also come with a 48-megapixel rear camera with F1.7 lens and a secondary 5-megapixel depth camera. Oppo is claiming superior portrait mode photos with its extensive AI algorithms that are tuned to enhance low-light photography. The 48-megapixel camera is using a Sony IMX586 sensor.The F11 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage. The regular Oppo F11 comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The F11 Pro comes with ColorOS 6.0, which is based on Android 9 Pie. The new version of ColorOS contains smarter AI algorithms for enhanced power efficiency and performance gains.Oppo is also offering a massive 4000mAh battery and is coupling it with their VOOC 3.0 fast charging system. Oppo claims that the VOOC 3.0 fast charging is almost 20 per cent faster than the first generation VOOC charging.
